New Home Expected to Accommodate Future Growth Plans
BRADENTON, Fla., June 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gevity today announced the company's planned move this fall to a new headquarters facility in nearby Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
According to Erik Vonk, Gevity's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, "Following a lengthy, careful search we were very pleased to find an outstanding new office facility right here in Manatee County to accommodate our anticipated growth and to better serve our clients and their employees throughout the country."
Building on its continued success, Gevity, the leading provider of a comprehensive insourced employee management solution, said it will move to a 100,000-square-foot campus in the Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park, a 600-acre business center located along the I-75 corridor and approximately 12 miles from the company's existing facility.
BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
Mr. Vonk continued, "We have negotiated favorable terms for a 10-year lease on a Class 'A' office space that has a minimal impact on ongoing operating expenses. The facility, which was originally designed as a technology center for a national security management company, is equipped with multiple redundant systems. It provides us with a state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and the flexible space to create a more efficient work environment. Our new home features a wide-open design with abundant natural light and windows that can be viewed from throughout the building."
He added, "We see this as an opportunity to create an environment that reflects the future of our business. With plenty of adjacent room for expansion, this is a building that will serve us very well going forward." He stated further, "The timing of the move is excellent, coinciding with the commencement of the full roll-out of the New Generation of Services, which we believe significantly enhances Gevity's future growth potential."
AN AWARD-WINNING ADDRESS
The company said Lakewood Ranch is an award-winning, master-planned residential/commercial community located on the historic Schroeder Manatee Ranch in Bradenton. The office park is surrounded by wetlands and lakes in a beautiful campus-like setting. An extensive pedestrian and bike system connects commercial areas with green spaces, parks and open-air malls. According to the company, Gevity's approximately 500 Bradenton area employees are expected to make the move in strategic stages during the fourth quarter of 2005, corresponding with the conclusion of Gevity's key Annual Benefits Enrollment period.
