Qld: Man dies after being struck by car

BRISBANE, Aug 20 AAP - A 21-year-old pedestrian died after he was struck by a car in
Brisbane's south early today.

Police said the man was in the northbound lane of Loganlea Road, Meadowbrook when the
sedan ran him over at 3.15am (AEST).

The man was taken by ambulance to the Logan Hospital with multiple injuries.

He was later transferred to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he died a short time later.

It was not clear what the man was doing on the road at the time of the incident.
