SA: Yacht gutted by fire

ADELAIDE, Dec 5 AAP - A 16-metre yacht was gutted by fire at its mooring near Murray
Bridge, east of Adelaide, this morning.

The Country Fire Service said the blaze broke out at about 4am (AEST) and caused about
$300,000 damage.

Firefighters reported that the boat was burning strongly when they arrived and houseboats
moored on either side had to be towed away to safety.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
